  16.      _s_s_d_u_m_p prints out the formatted contents of one or more SpeedShop
  17.      performance experiment data files.  Each of the files consists of a
  18.      string of "beads", or count-key-data records.

  20.      If any of the named files contain beads indicating additional data files,
  21.      from descendant processes of the original run, those files will also be
  22.      dumped.

  24.      Options are used to control the printing of the files.
  25.  
  26.      ----dddd   Print detailed information for each bead.  For compressed beads, the
  27.           compressed form will be dumped.
  28.  
  29.      ----DDDD   Print detailed information for each bead.  For compressed beads, the
  30.           uncompressed form will be dumped.  If both ----DDDD and ----dddd are given, both
  31.           forms will be printed for compressed beads, but only one copy will
  32.           be printed for beads that are not recorded in compressed form.

  34.      ----hhhh   Print out the hex contents of the body of each bead.

  36.      ----qqqq   Suppress printing of those fields that will normally change from run
  37.           to run.  Such fields contain, for example, process pid's, time
  38.           stamps, and so forth.  This option is used for QA work, to better
  39.           enable automatic comparisons of recorded experiments.

  42.           Print only one bead at the given offset into the file.
